 Lisa Randall for Bergen County Clerk


Elizabeth Randall brings a depth of experience and talent to the office of County Clerk which few people ever have.  For three decades - beginning in 1981, when she served as a Prosecutor in Essex County, Randall has held key positions in state and county government as both an elected and appointed official.  In addition to having had a successful law practice, among Randall’s accomplishments are:

  • Deputy Attorney General in the administration of Governor Thomas Kean

  • Member of the New Jersey General Assembly, 1985 to 1991

  • Bergen County Counsel from 1999-2002 and 1991-1994, where she led initiatives including the preservation of more than 1,000 acres of open space

  • NJ Commissioner of Banking and Insurance under Governor Christine Todd Whitman, 1994-1998, where she spearheaded auto insurance reform

  • Bergen County Freeholder, 2003 to 2006

  • Commissioner of the NJ Board of Public Utilities, from 2008 to 2010
